sierra cement is good for snowshoeing!

Taking a nice Sunday trek in the woods in Truckee! We didn't luck out with snow this weekend for skiing, but we've been able to enjoy the mountain air! A big thank you to the Youngs-Mizicko's for their home away from home!

*flashback! Last winter in Courchevel... most of her gear still fits!

For the non-Californians: Sierra cement is a term used to define the remnants of wet, heavy snow that has been exposed to freezing temperatures. Sierra cement is usually quite thick, does not melt quickly, and is solid like actual cement... Not ideal for skiing or making snow angels!

There's no way her toes would get cold.
