les suédoises...

Kicking back some cheese puffs with Linus and Ida while their 4 day old sister, Emilie, naps!

Seems to be a good description for O's hazel eyes!

baker beach...

...mit Leon!

making sand angels!

Patrick, Daniela and Leon had us over for a delicious brunch in the city, followed by a hike to Land's End and a picnic on Baker Beach... amazing Sunday on the SF side of the Golden Gate Bridge.

better than a backyard...

...is having a beach on the bay two blocks away. We don't spend too much time indoors!

run for the seals!!

O and I "Ran for the Seals" on Saturday at The Marine Mammal Center (the other side of Sausalito in the Marin Headlands). Four miles and a real *fun run!* Lots of dogs, strollers, families, and amazing goodies afterwards. Someone even made harbor seal cookies!

For years I spent every Tuesday night at TMMC in animal care, I miss the pinnipeds and the renovated facility is amazing!

A movie from a few years ago, tube-feeding an orphaned elephant seal pup with my buddy Brian. Unable to eat fish yet and without a mom to nurse, he needed electrolytes directly in the stomach for dehydration.

sunday hike in point reyes...

We went on a beautiful six mile hike with Annie and Sadie on a marvelous March day... kids in the packs of course, or we'd still be walking!

Collecting bugs along the way!

Beau!

poissons magnifiques!

Ahhh! Meeting up with Annie and Sadie in Ashbury Heights, taking the bus to the Inner Sunset (and stopping at Arizmendi Bakery along the way, yum!) and walking over to Golden Gate Park to explore the California Academy of Sciences... a perfect day in San Francisco! The Philippine Coral Reef is by far the best way to entertain a toddler on a rainy day.

meanwhile... dans les alpes...

Océanne and I anxiously await a certain someone's return from Courchevel... the day after tomorrow!
