It's a Saturday morning in September, time to bust out the Maize and Blue for Michigan football!

kissing cousins and rolling over...

foot-in-mouth...

As you can see, today was a big day for Océanne. For months now she has been into sucking her thumb, fingers, pacifiers, Sophie la Girafe, etc... but this is too much!!

**She also just experienced her first earthquake... OK, she was sound asleep but Ben and I definitely felt it!

4 months...

get out the map...

We decided to beat the crowds before Labor Day and head to Point Reyes. We strapped Océanne on the front, packs on the back and hiked in 8 miles to a lush, woodsy campground. Practically had the entire park to ourselves and Océanne was totally into the long, shady hike with some picturesque nursing spots along the way... it's so beautiful up there.


Suddenly three's a crowd... We'll get a bigger tent someday!


Cozy at night in layers of fleece...


Mission accomplished, back at the trailhead...
