merry christmas!

O is officially into Santa! Although, she'll pass on the whole sitting in his lap tradition!! We opened some gifts early Christmas morning, followed by a bike ride through Sausalito. It was a wonderful holiday full of thoughtful gifts... and more importantly, a full house of loved ones.

Celebrating Christmas with Nana and Papa! We were definitely in the Christmas spirit, it's such a fun holiday with little ones around!

o tannenbaum, o tannenbaum!

They're all so pretty and smell soooo good, but we finally picked out our Christmas tree and rode it home Yuba Mundo style! No big deal, considering that Ben delivered 544lbs of food on his bike to the San Francisco Food Bank last weekend in the Supermarket Street Sweep! We're getting a little goofy and very excited for the holidays and Nana and Papa's visit. We had such a fun weekend with Edie's first birthday party on Friday and Chris and Ann's Xmas party in the city on Saturday and decorating our tree last night... bedtime has been pretty late the past few nights, tis the season!

Being the daughter of a French Ski Instructor sure has its benefits... too bad Océanne doesn't remember spending her first winter living in the Alps in Courchevel! The day after Thanksgiving, we woke up before the sun rose to hit the slopes in Tahoe. We borrowed some tiny skis and boots (even the smallest are way to big for O's feet), and O was all smiles during her first private lesson from daddy. Besides, a toddler on skis is just for fun really! Saturday wasn't quite as snow bunny friendly weather-wise, so we hung out around Squaw while Ben skied... it was windy, gray and cold, with TONS of snow for the beginning of what looks to be a nice ski season in California... It was a great mini-vacation complete with seeing good friends in Truckee too.
