It's a girl!

Welcome to the world, Océanne Marie!

Emily gave birth to a beautiful baby girl early Sunday morning. Her name is Océanne Marie Sarrazin (pronounced "Oh-say-an") and she weighs 7 lbs 2 oz and is 18 inches long. As you can see she has a thick head of hair and is quite lovely. Both she and Emily are happy and healthy!

maison à sausalito!

We moved to a great house right near the water in lovely Sausalito this past weekend... now it's time to nest! Voici, notre nouvelle demeure au bord de l'ocean Pacifique!!!

Now that Ben and I have finished all of our baby classes, it's time to practice the "5 S's" with the cats! Ben is already a master of swaddling and Ezra seems quite content with the swaddle, swing, shhhhshing, side hold... We know better than to try this with Zoe! Are we ready for baby or what!?!

32 week belly bump...

I had the most incredible weekend... mom and dad were in town, we celebrated little Anna's first birthday, and had a wonderful baby shower on Sunday! So many amazing women in one place, I was really touched. (will post photos of the ladies soon!). Sarah did such a fantastic job... everything was absolutely beautiful! My girlfriends were so generous and now Ben and I actually feel prepared for baby with adorable clothes, swaddling blankets, etc. Thank you so much to all my friends and family who attended, I'm still taking it all in! Ben and I are getting ready to nest!!

we had a 28 week ultrasound today and were able to get a pretty unbelievable shot of a very sleepy little baby! croissant is about 2 lbs now, moving like crazy, kicking away... little did I know that I would get to see his/her teeny face in such detail, I'm in awe... oh, Sarah reminded me to mention that the technician commented on the amount of hair on the baby's head: "you'll definitely need a comb for this baby!"

I couldn't resist putting up a photo of my niece, Anna! She's excited to have a cousin...
